We must always examine everything that the mainstream media dishes out with a critical mind. We must take their claim that they exist to serve the truth with a grain of salt. When mainstream media presents something as true, we should always ask ourselves whose truth is it. Let us not forget that they have an agenda to serve. We can not afford to be gullible and believe what they say that that they are there for for us. They are not there for us. They exist for themselves.
i think the media is all about showing both sides of the stories.....and not just picking one side and sabotaging the other.....and making an consensus without proving the other person guilty .....
ReplyDeleteAmen. You are right on the money. :)
ReplyDeleteMedia is still business. You are so right on this.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's why citizen-journalists aka bloggers are here, people like us, who can actively seek truth.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I love you rthree-column blogger template. How can I get one?
Sometimes we use to condemn the media but sometimes we really need their story of the world.
ReplyDeleteMain Stream Media = National Enquirer
ReplyDeleteSame caliber. Same stupid stories warped into whatever it is the station thinks is *good* at the time.
I don't listen to them anymore. Period. It's a joke.
Indeed, we cannot afford to be gullible and we should never be that. A nice post..thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWow!!! Lot's to choose from...
ReplyDeleteWhile The Mainstream Media still covers both sides of every issue [Left and Right], they don't cover 'The Truth' - which is most often neither. We are so easily led to believe that there are always exactly two sides to every issue, that we fail to see that almost every time there are [indeed] more than that... or that, both: The Left and The Right are artificially created parameters of propagandist thought - designed only to generate their own pre-planned consensus!
